‘Children Praying for Children’ campaign – UNWLA

We need YOUR help! Let’s bring this important and meaningful campaign to your communities.

Children Praying for Children

Local communities across the United States are invited to come together in prayer for the tens of thousands of Ukrainian children who have been abducted by Russia.

Target date: On or around June 1st – International Children’s Day.

Here’s the link to the campaign page.

The campaign page has a full toolkit for this project. Included: Info sheet, prayer card, templates for outreach messages, and more.

  • Participation doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as adding a short prayer during a regular service.
  • The prayer action doesn’t have to be exactly on June 1st. It can be any day in the range nearby.

This campaign was created by UNWLA (the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America). UNWLA is of the oldest and most respected Ukrainian-American community organizations.

ANYONE is invited to take part! You don’t have to be connected to UNWLA to participate.

Take Action:

  • Are you a local organizer? It would be wonderful if you can make a Children Praying for Children event happen in your community!
  • Do you know any organizers? Or, active members in a faith community? Please send them this information, and ask if they could put a prayer session together.

Thank you so much for your help in bringing this campaign to as many people as possible.
