20,000+
ABDUCTED CHILDREN
More than 20,000 Ukrainian children are known by name to have been stolen by Russia. The true number is likely much higher.
Russia has concealed information about the children, changed their personal data, and blocked independent monitoring.
CONSTANT FEAR AND ABUSE
Only a fraction of the children have made it home. Those who return describe what happened to them in Russian custody and institutions.
A “MERCHANDISE CATALOG” OF CHILDREN
Ukrainian children have appeared in Russian-run online adoption databases.
Prospective adopters could filter children by age, sex, hair color, eye color, health, and other characteristics. Profiles even described some children as “obedient.”

“Your parents don’t want you anymore.
Your mom called me and told me no one needs you.”
Can you imagine as a mom, opening this and seeing your child?

That someone could just go in, search for them and pick them?
